HIM Faculty Member Elected to National Board
Associate Professor Valerie Watzlaf, PhD was recently elected to the office of director on AHIMA's Board of Directors. The American Health Information Management Association has over 50,000 members and provides a network of HIM professionals dedicated to improving healthcare through quality information management. Watzlaf received her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Her term on the board begins January 2009 and will last for three years.
