Our Physician Assistant students have collaborated with their clinical preceptors and reach out to the communities they are in through patient education projects, poster presentations and clinical education meetings.
In 2012, one of our students was a recipient of the Susan Lindahl Memorial Scholarship for those PA students who are interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic medicine.
Over the past three years the PA Student Society raised over $7000.00 for their charity; Relay for Life.
We are proud to have our graduates practicing clinically in 23 states.
On December 16, 2016 the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences held its first winter graduates recognition ceremony. The event was held in Alumni Hall and the class of 2016 for the Physician Assistant Studies Program participated, signifying the completion of our program and entrance into clinical practice for our clinical year students.
