A Message from Dean Clifford E. Brubaker, PhD
It is my pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the Faculty, Staff, Students and Alumni to our School. I hope you will take some time to learn about our programs and the people associated with them.
Health and Rehabilitation Sciences offer an unlimited vista of challenge and opportunity. We at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences work assiduously to ensure that our educational programs are not only responsive to current conditions and circumstances but also to provide appropriate preparation for our students that is responsive to evolving trends in these fields of study and professional disciplines.
We have made a particular commitment to address rehabilitation and disabilities. Our approaches to education and research encompass serving, advocating for, and treating “… those who are in the dawn of life – the children, those who are in the twilight of life – the elderly, and those who are in the shadows of life – the sick, the needy, and the ‘handicapped’." *
* From the last speech of US Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey (1911-1978)
We are substantially engaged in scholarly activities that will continue to provide a basis for advancing knowledge and practice in the health and rehabilitation sciences. I invite you to review the scholarly and research activities of our faculty and students and to make inquiries.
With kind regards,
Clifford E. Brubaker, Ph.D.
Dean, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
