Andrew Simonson is an instructor and research associate with the Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition; Neuromuscular Research Laboratory at the Warrior Human Performance Research Center located at Fort Bragg, NC. Previously, Simonson worked with the NMRL on an Air Force Special Operations Command project in Florida conducting injury prevention and performance optimization research. His research interests include: prevention of musculoskeletal injury in the military, physical demands of enduring tactical training exercises in military operators, performance measurements in elite military populations, and body composition in relation to optimal functional performance.
