Nancy Augustine is project manager for two grants awarded to the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Science Department of Rehabilitation Science & Technology: International Society of Wheelchair Professionals (ISWP), an organization founded through a grant by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID); and Initiative to Mobilize Partnerships for Successful Assistive Technology Translation (IMPACT), awarded by The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR).  She oversees day-to-day activities of these multi-year programs, working with Pitt faculty, staff and external stakeholders to implement the grants’ work plans.

Previously, Nancy served as senior vice president, national marketing division, of the Local Search Association, an international advertising trade organization.  The National Marketing Division was formed following the merger of the Local Search Association and Association of Directory Marketing (ADM).  Nancy helped to launch ADM and served as its senior vice president, leading marketing, research, membership, and day-to-day operations.  She also led ADM’s merger with the Local Search Association.  Nancy’s career included a position as research analyst with Ketchum Directory Advertising, a division of Ketchum Communications.

Nancy is a magna cum laude graduate of Robert Morris University, B.S.B.A marketing, and Ms.Ed., Business Education.  She is a member of the Chatham University Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CWE) and has been a mentor for CWE’s Business Startup and IncubateHer programs.  Nancy also mentors small businesses at every stage of their development.
