Takashi Nagai is an assistant professor within the Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition. He was involved in the Eagle Tactical Athlete Program (ETAP) at the UPitt Warrior Human Performance Research Center at Fort Campbell, KY from 2007 to 2012. Nagai is currently involved in the Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command Injury Prevention and Human Performance Research Initiative. He completed his PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh, MS in Exercise Physiology at the University of Utah, and BS in Athletic Training at the University of Charleston. Nagai's research interests include exercise interventions for injury prevention and performance optimization, joint stability and sensorimotor system, maritime/amphibious human performance research, and neck/back issues in helicopter pilots.
