Allison Ross joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics in 2019 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for cross country and track and field. Ross is a 2019 honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. As an undergraduate athletic training student, she worked with the Pitt women’s basketball, football and softball teams as well as the athletics programs at South Fayette High School. She was a recipient of the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society (PATS) Cecilia Yost Scholarship and The Dr. Freddie H. Fu Undergraduate Athletic Training Scholarship. Recently, she was selected as a 2020 NATA Research and Education Foundation scholarship recipient and awarded the Gatorade Gail Weldon Scholarship. Ross is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
