Emily Hahn joined the Pitt football program as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in 2019. Hahn is a 2019 honors graduate of Michigan State with bachelor’s degrees in athletic training and a minor in health promotion. As a student athletic trainer, she worked with the Spartans’ football, women’s gymnastics, men’s soccer and men’s tennis teams as well as the athletics programs at East Lansing High School. Hahn additionally served athletic training internships with the NFL’s Detroit Lions and the Wayne State football team. She was a recipient of the Jack and Mary Ann Heppinstall Memorial Scholarship and Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS) Scholarship. Hahn is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
