Giorgio Galanti is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves as Chief of Postgraduate School of Sport Medicine University of Florence, Technique Director of the Sports Medicine Department at the University of Florence, and Chief of the Medical Staff of Fiorentina first league soccer team studies. Galanti graduated from the University of Florence specializing in cardiology and sports medicine. His research interests include non-invasive cardiac procedures, systolic function, prevalence and incidence of arrhythmias in subjects who practice sports activity, and injury reduction and performance optimization.
