Jess Oest is an Instructional Designer with the Office of Online Learning where she works with faculty to support course design and development for online and hybrid courses. Previously, she worked as an instructional design consultant for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). She also serves as an Instructional Designer and coach for NeverTechLate, a program that teaches older adults how to use tablets and video conferencing technology to combat feelings of loneliness and social isolation.

Oest holds a Master of Arts in Education, Training, and Instructional Technology from IUP.  She also completed the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Instructional Designer Certificate Program and is an OLC Course Quality Review (OSCQR) Trainer.
