Maddy Dix is the senior alumni associate for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences within the Philanthropic and Alumni Engagement Division. In this role, she will coordinate and execute alumni engagement events including social/networking events, alumni lectures and panel discussions, regional alumni receptions and alumni partnership events in collaboration with the SHRS External Relations team. She will also support signature student and alumni engagement events and programming such as mentoring as well as create, cultivate and expand programs and opportunities to engage alumni. Dix joined PAE and Pitt in August of 2020 as the alumni coordinator for the School of Nursing where she successfully advanced the alumni programming for the School of Nursing despite starting in a pandemic. Prior to coming to Pitt, she worked at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh in both the Marketing and Development departments.
Dix received her BA in history from Denison University and is currently a graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of International and Public Affairs pursuing her Master of Public Administration in public and nonprofit management.
