Naor Demeter is a postdoctoral associate within the Department of Occupational Therapy and works in the Occupational Therapy Cognitive Performance Lab. She received her PhD in Occupational Therapy from the University of Haifa in Israel. Over the last 12 years, Demeter worked in several teaching and research related roles at the Faculty of Social Welfare and Health Sciences in the University of Haifa. In addition to being a qualified animal assisted therapist, she also has a background in internal medicine and hand rehabilitation in a hospital setting and experience working as an occupational therapist in special needs schools. Demeter also has an interest in the study of human-animal interaction relating to clinical populations.
