Patty Constantini is an adjunct assistant professor in the Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling (CRMHC) department. Her work experience includes public and private rehabilitation employment settings, including the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and various independent private sector medical and vocational case management companies. Constantini is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and Certified Case Manager (CCM). She also holds two certifications in life care planning (CLCP & CNLCP). Her private practice primarily involves forensic rehabilitation, including life care planning, and vocational rehabilitation assessment.She was named 2015 Outstanding Life Care Planning Educator by the Foundation for Life Care Planning Research.
Constantini has served as national president of the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC). She was the national chair for the International Academy of Life Care Planners (IALCP) and the American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board (ALNCCB). She continues to serve on the ALNCCB Appeals Panel. Constantini spent many years, including as president, on the Board of Directors for Community Living and Support Services (CLASS, formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Pittsburgh). She has been an editorial consultant for the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling, the Journal of Legal Nurse Consulting, and the Journal of Life Care Planning. She continues to review manuscripts for Disability and Rehabilitation.
