Ronald Schwesinger

Ronald Schwesinger is director of Post-Award Administration. He is responsible for developing and overseeing a new structure for Post-award management, including the Research Financial Administrators who will support these activities. He works with the dean and associate deans of Research and Finance along with the director of Research Administration. He works with various departments and centers in the school for Pre-award and post-award research administration management, reviewing, approving, reporting and monitoring research awards. He also trains incoming administrators on research administration and finance functions. Schwesinger joined SHRS in September 1996 and has been a staff member at Pitt since August 1978. He received his education at Robert Morris University and the University of Pittsburgh.
