Shelly Fetchen DiCesaro

Shelly Fetchen DiCesaro is an associate professor in the Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition assigned to the Athletic Training program. DiCesaro brings with her clinical and classroom experience most recently serving in a dual appointment as an athletic trainer for nationally ranked women's basketball and a professor of athletic training and health science. DiCesaro is currently the immediate past-president of the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers' Society and serves as a U.S. Figure Skating appointed athletic trainer for international events. She earned her BS in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania, her MS in clinical exercise physiology from The George Washington University and her PhD in exercise physiology from Pitt.
