Stephen Lau is an occupational therapist and postdoctoral associate in the Department of Occupational Therapy. Lau obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation and Participation Science from Washington University in St. Louis. His research leverages mobile health technologies (ecological momentary assessment and accelerometry) to further the understanding of chronic problems faced by stroke survivors in their everyday lives. Under the mentorship of Dr. Elizabeth Skidmore, he is expanding his research program in complex intervention theory design and evaluation, hybrid intervention-implementation research methodologies and sleep medicine for people with neurological, cognitive and/or mood impairments.
