Wayan Pulantara is a research scientist and a developer lead in the Health and Rehabilitation Informatics (HaRI) Lab in the Department of Health Information Management. He has more than 16 years of hands-on experience in software development, project management, entrepreneurship and innovation. For the last 11 years, he has been working extensively in the field of health informatics, including research, development and implementation of telehealth/telemedicine systems, mobile health (mHealth) solutions, Internet-of-Things (IoT) integration in health interventions, and Just-in-Time Adaptive Interventions (JITAI) and machine learning. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering at Bandung Institute of Technology and his Master of Science and doctoral degrees at the University of Pittsburgh.
