Study Name: ASSIST Functional Performance Index (AFPI) Reliability & Validity Study

Short Description: This research study is meant to help us establish the reliability and validity of the ASSIST Functional Performance Index (AFPI). It was developed to assess independent living skills of persons with physical disabilities and to identify activity challenges that may be addressed using mainstream smart home technology (MSHT) as assistive technology (AT) and assess changes in activity performance with AT use. Please note that this is a virtual research study, and compensation will be provided.

Study Name: WheelFit: Feasibility

Short Description: Are you 18-65 years old, have a spinal injury and use a manual wheelchair? You may be able to participate in a study to evaluate a fitness app called WheelFit, which allows you to monitor your daily physical activity and provides an adaptive workout library. The study will last for four weeks during which you will be expected to use WheelFit and attend five video-conference meetings. Compensation is provided.
