Biography

Caitlyn Crawford’s career is focused on advancing musculoskeletal care through the integration of clinical expertise and proficient academic instruction. Her academic focus centers on the evaluation and treatment of movement dysfunctions across the spine and extremities. Beyond primary instruction, she is involved in curriculum development and alignment for both residential and hybrid DPT programs, ensuring that future clinicians are equipped with evidence-based knowledge and skills. Complementing her academic role is over a decade of experience in clinical practice and health care management within the UPMC health system, including five years as a facility director. Crawford’s clinical background is in orthopedic manual therapy and specialized spine care.
