Kelli Lampe is a seasoned clinician with expertise in trauma, anxiety related concerns and women’s health across the lifespan. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic based approaches. Her professional experiences include work in K–12 schools, community mental health agencies, substance use disorder treatment centers, the juvenile justice system and later expanded into higher education counseling centers and private practice.
After years in full-time clinical practice, Lampe shifted into counselor education to extend her service to the profession by preparing future clinicians. In the classroom, she helps students translate evidence into practice, strengthen counseling micro-skills and develop a confident professional identity grounded in ethics, reflection and cultural responsiveness. Inspired by the mentorship she received as a graduate student, she fosters a supportive, growth-oriented learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, practice skillfully and care deeply for the communities they serve. Her favorite aspects of teaching are watching students evolve into clinicians and empowering them to enter the profession with confidence, competence and compassion.
