About the Program

Pitt is uniquely positioned to train the next generation of chiropractors. From day one, students will receive a combination of evidence-based education complemented by clinical experiences within inter-professional settings.
Eight-Term Curriculum

Pitt has honed the DC curriculum to offer all the necessary courses and clinical hours to meet all Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) standards.

  • 4,200 total hours of instruction.
  • Over 1,900 hours of clinical instruction.

Hands-On from Day One

Students will be exposed to complex clinical training, shadowing and observing real patients living with a wide variety of injuries, disabilities or diagnoses.

Valuable Partnerships

Students will work with clinical partners from hospitals, clinics and private practices. These partners range from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS).
