Aaron Duvall is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Women’s Lacrosse and Men’s/Women’s Swimming groups. He came to the University of Pittsburgh in August of 2021. Duvall has his Master’s Degree (MS) in Sports Science, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), holds his Strength and Conditioning Coach Certificate from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC), and is an Advanced Sport Performance Specialist through USA Weightlifting (USAW-2). He works in cooperation with the athletic trainers, nutritionists, and sport coaches to help advance the performance of all of our Olympic Sports athletes.

Prior to coming to Pitt, he has experience working with the performance staffs at LSU-Shreveport, Cal State Fullerton, Clemson University, The University of Texas at Austin, and most recently Mississippi State University. In his role at MSU, Duvall was directly responsible for the training of Women’s Soccer, Track and Field, and Men’s Tennis teams.  He also assisted in the integration of their sports science initiative as well as oversaw all strength and conditioning interns. He has experience in both Strength and Conditioning as well as Applied Sports Science.  As an athlete, he competed in Olympic Weightlifting under the coaching of Dr. Kyle Pierce for 7 years.
