Anne Marie serves as the Director of the Division of Community Health at UPMC Children’s Hospital where she leads a team of 45 professionals working in and with community – identifying and addressing health needs and integrating services between community-based and hospital systems with particular attention to the social, behavioral, and environmental factors that influence health. Throughout her career, she has utilized her clinical backgrounds in behavioral health and nutrition to design and implement community and population-level interventions to benefit public health.

Anne Marie has been on teaching faculties of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and School of Education for more than a decade and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. She was recognized as an Outstanding Dietetics Educator by the PA Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She served on Boards of Directors for Grow Pittsburgh, an urban agriculture non-profit, and The Midwife Center for Birth and Women’s Health, the nation’s largest freestanding birth center.
