Erin Mathia is an instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Allegheny College and her master of occupational therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently in the process of obtaining her doctor of clinical science in occupational therapy with a focus in education. She has 13+ years of clinical experience, specializing in early intervention. As an instructor with the Department of Occupational Therapy, Mathia provides supervision and mentorship to occupational therapy students during community-based fieldwork experiences. Her scholarly interests include community-based occupational therapy and curriculum design.
