Jack Fried works in the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology and Center for Assistive Technology as a Clinical and Research Engineer. He completed his master's degree in Rehabilitation Technology in 2022 and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2019.
His research focuses on raising quality and performance of wheelchair casters in the field through standard testing as well as the integration of commercial smart home devices into the evaluation and implementation of home modification to support individuals as they age in place.
