Joy Tomasic

Joy Tomasic is the administrative coordinator in the SHRS Office of the Dean. She is responsible for managing all clinical contracts and the clinical contract database, administration and management of SHRS initiatives such as the SHRS peer review of teaching, undergraduate research tracking, education excellence advisor council, oversight and organization of committees, and other initiatives identified by SHRS leadership. She also provides support to M. Kathleen Kelly, associate dean for Academic Outreach and Advising; Kevin Conley, associate dean for Undergraduate Studies; David Beck, associate dean for Interprofessional Studies; and Thomas Platt, associate dean for Academic Partnerships. Tomasic coordinates meetings and schedules, reporting and data collection, and all communication related to each of the associate deans’ areas. She joined Pitt in 2013 and spent most of that time working for Facilities Management.
