Kellie Beach has multiple roles within SHRS. In her role as the Director of Student Services, she oversees the Student Services staff with developing, planning and directing activities and events for all SHRS students. She organizes and plans the annual SHRS Recognition Day Ceremonies in April and December. She maintains the Student Services webpages, SHRS university catalogs and handbooks, and all student records. She is responsible for applying all funding, endowments and scholarships.
As the SHRS Registrar, she serves as a liaison with the University Registrar, the Office of Financial Aid, and the Associate Deans for Undergraduate and Graduate Studies. She is responsible for certifying all students for graduation and verifies all degree requirements. She oversees course scheduling and classroom assignments in Forbes Tower.
As the SHRS Ombudsperson she serves as a mediator and spokesperson for the rights of individuals or groups for SHRS. She helps to provide them with resources within the University.
She holds an Associate degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Robert Morris University. Prior to joining Pitt, she was a Business Consultant for Deloitte & Touché, a Billing Specialist for Choice Respiratory and a Team Manager for Tastefully Simple. She is also the proud mom of a University of Pitt Johnstown graduate, Gannon University graduate and soon to be University of Pitt Greensburg 2022 graduate.
