Bob Maguire received a graduate certificate in Prosthetics from Northwestern University in 1995 and became an ABC-certified Prosthetist in 1999. He obtained an ABC Orthotic Fitters Certificate in 2001. Maguire has fit various prostheses with all types of liners and suspension systems to all populations. In 2013, he was hired to assist orthotics and prosthetics instructors in the Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics Program at the University of Pittsburgh. In October 2016, he became a full-time adjunct faculty member and currently teaches as full-time faculty in the MSPO program.
