Tara McSwigan is an associate professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. McSwigan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Geneva College and her Master of Physician Assistant Science degree from Saint Francis University.  McSwigan has participated in the education of graduate students and medical residents for many years through her work as a clinical preceptor and lecturer, and she regularly presents on a national level to her physician assistant colleagues to support their professional development and continued medical education.  Her efforts in supporting the instruction of didactic physician students led to her winning the 2020 Department of Physician Assistant Studies Outstanding Adjunct Faculty award.
