Biography
In addition to teaching, Alexandra Gil serves as the administrative director of the Physical Therapy Clinical and Translational Science Center with a focus on facilitating clinical and translational research in the area of rehabilitation sciences. Gil has played a significant role as a project director and co-investigator responsible for the general management and execution of clinical trials funded by NIAMS, NIA and PCORI, including two multi-center trials funded by NINDS and AHRQ.

- Evidence-based physical therapy practice in clinical performance improvement
- Biomechanics of the lower extremity
- Rehabilitation in knee osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and total knee replacement
- Clinical trials data quality and implementation.
