Biography

Bambang Parmanto is a health information scientist at the University of Pittsburgh, where he leads innovative research and education at the intersection of digital health and artificial intelligence (AI). He directs the Health and Rehabilitation Informatics research group. Parmanto’s work focuses on using AI and mobile health technologies to deliver adaptive, personalized digital health interventions, particularly for individuals with chronic and complex conditions. He also brings extensive experience leading large-scale, federally funded research initiatives in digital health.
