Biography

Samannaaz Khoja has been a faculty member at Pitt since 2018. She brings over a decade of experience coordinating single- and multi-site clinical trials and collaborates with health care system partners on quality improvement initiatives and pragmatic studies. As principal investigator, she has secured intramural and extramural grants examining care trajectories for individuals with knee osteoarthritis, fall-risk screening implementation and management of low back pain in primary care. Her work reflects a sustained commitment to closing the gap between research evidence and real-world clinical practice. She has also been involved in teaching various courses related to research methods and evidence-based practice at the undergraduate and graduate level.
