Welcome to the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS). What an exciting time to be considering a career in health care! And there is no better place to begin your pursuit of a professional degree than the University of Pittsburgh and SHRS.

Incoming freshmen and underclassmen, are you considering Pitt to complete an undergraduate degree that will prepare you for acceptance into a graduate professional program? Look no further than our undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Science, a very popular choice for those aspiring physical and occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, physician assistant, prosthetics and orthotics, or even medical students. We also offer other undergraduate degrees in Athletic Training, Communication Science, Emergency Medicine, Health Information Management, and Nutrition Science.

We have a very strong partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), which prioritizes Pitt students in their clinical internships. For health care practitioners and international students, we are pleased to offer post-graduate educational programs that are profession specific, such as our MS degrees designed for physical therapists and occupational therapists and our Doctor of Clinical Science degrees in medical speech-language pathology and occupational therapy.
