Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Program to Begin in Fall 2025

The University of Pittsburgh’s new Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program is the first in the nation to be offered in a research-intensive public university, providing an educational experience unmatched by any other program. Based on its strong reputation in the health sciences, Pitt is uniquely positioned to train a new generation of chiropractors who will be at the leading edge of science for spine and musculoskeletal disorders.

From day one, students will receive a combination of rigorous, evidence-based education and clinical experiences within an interprofessional academic environment. These experiences will prepare our graduates for integration as essential team members in a wide range of clinical environments and prepare students to move the field forward.

Our first cohort of 40 students will begin classes in fall term (August) 2025. Applications will open in fall 2024. Stay up to date on important program announcements by signing up to receive more information below.
