Program Outcomes

The mission of the undergraduate program in Rehabilitation Science is to empower students to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviors for a successful career in the health professions.

The Rehabilitation Science (RS) prepares students for graduate programs in the health professions including physical and occupational therapy, physician assistant studies, medical school, prosthetics and orthotics and more. Graduates of the program experience highly successful admission rates to graduate schools–99% of students interested in physical therapy, occupational therapy and prosthetics and orthotics are admitted to these graduate programs!

Students will shape their own academic journey with courses tailored for their particular career goals. Many then practice as clinicians and become leaders and advocates within their chosen fields.
