Students looking for a program that can prepare them for an entry level position as a physical therapist should explore the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) on-campus and hybrid option.

NOTE: The GRE is not required.
Applicants are required to provide transcripts from all U.S. universities, colleges or other higher education institutions attended.
Admitted students will need to submit official transcripts to the SHRS Admissions Office prior to enrolling in classes.
All applicants will write an essay describing their educational and long-term professional goals.
A minimum of two (2) letters of recommendation:
Admissions decisions will be based on an overall evaluation of all credentials submitted and the availability of space in the class. The program will review applications as they become complete and will send admissions decisions typically within three to four weeks.
Resume or CV must be submitted through the GradCAS application.

Students who have completed the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree or higher at an institution outside of the United States are required to provide an academic credential evaluation from Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. or World Education Services (WES), Inc. with their application.
The University of Pittsburgh accepts the official results of the Duolingo English Test, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as a measure of English language proficiency.
