Nicole was admitted to two other doctorate programs prior to deciding to attend SHRS at the University of Pittsburgh. The breadth of military research occurring at the Neuromuscular Research Laboratory in conjunction with the lateral mobility between domains and the advanced imaging technology unique to the NMRL solidified her decision.
