Assured Graduate Pathways

The SHRS Assured Graduate Pathways (SAGP) initiative offers students in select undergraduate majors at the University of Pittsburgh the opportunity for early application review—and in some cases, assured admission—to eligible SHRS graduate programs.

To be considered, students must submit a complete application following the application process for their program of interest. This application should be submitted by the early SAGP deadline if one has been set by the program. Doctor of Chiropractic Qualifying Criteria

  • Complete your undergraduate degree at Pitt in one of these majors:
    • SHRS: athletic training, communication science, emergency medicine, health informatics, nutrition science or rehabilitation science
    • Public Health: public health
    • Education: exercise science, health and physical activity
    • Arts and Sciences: biological sciences, chemistry, natural sciences, neuroscience or physics
    • Nursing: nursing
    • Pharmacy: pharmacy
  • 3.5 GPA overall and 3.0 GPA in prerequisite courses
  • Successfully pass the interview

SAGP Application Deadline

Early application due by November 1, 2025

Cap: 15 total

Effective for Pitt students having graduated from these majors in or after 2024.
