Communication Science (BA)

The undergraduate minor in Communication Sciences will require a minimum of 15 credit hours in CSD courses taken at the University of Pittsburgh main campus through the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. All students will be required to take three core courses (9 credit hours) listed under Required Courses. Students will choose two courses (6 credit hours) from the list of three optional courses listsed under Elective Courses.  A minimum grade of C- must be earned in each CSD course to count towards the minor requirements. An accumulative GPA of 2.0 is required across the CSD courses required for the minor.

• CSD 1230 – INTRODUCTION TO SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY (3 Credits)
• CSD 1102 – INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL AND CLINICAL ISSUES IN COMMUNICATION SCIENCE & DISORDERS (3 Credits)
• CSD 1232 – INTRODUCTION TO AUDIOLOGY (3 Credits)
