Many individuals complete an undergraduate degree then decide to follow a different path. If this is you, and you have a desire to help individuals with hearing or speech disorders, consider the Post-Baccalaureate Year for Communication Science and Disorders. This non-degree, non-certificate program offers students the opportunity to enroll in communication science coursework with the goal of meeting application requirements for speech-language pathology (SLP) or audiology (AuD) graduate programs.

The completion of this program will provide students with the prerequisite courses necessary for other communication science and disorders graduate degrees.
It is the responsibility of each enrolled student to determine their future academic and career plans based on the requirements of each individual graduate program to which the student intends to apply. Students will receive academic advising. However, the academic plan is dependent on individual academic goals and previously completed coursework.

Since this is a non-degree seeking program, the student costs per term may vary.
Most students will pay as a full-time student in a graduate level program term if they decide to take the full 12-18 credits. However, some students decide to only take one or two classes, which would be a part-time, per-credit cost.
