Are you in the 11th or 12th grade and interested in learning about using artificial intelligence (AI) in health care? The Pitt School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences’ (SHRS) Health Informatics faculty will be joined by the School of Medicine’s Computational Pathology and AI Center of Excellence (CPACE) and the IEEE Computer Society to host an all-expenses-paid, weeklong summer school in Oakland from June 24 to 28, 2024.

What will I do?
- The immersive week will give students hands-on experience learning how AI is used in medical imaging to help clinicians improve diagnostic accuracy of different diseases and complications.
- Learn about AI-powered medical imaging informatics research.
- Expose you to a field early on that will make you more competitive for undergraduate and graduate level programs (e.g., computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, medical imaging informatics).
- Develop essential skills for pursuing professional careers in AI-powered medical imaging informatics.
