After more than 20 years as an occupational therapy clinician working across school-based settings, Amanda Noble knew she wanted to take the next step into academia. Her journey to become as assistant professor started with Pitt OT’s Doctor of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy program.

After graduating from Pitt and making a successful PT career, Myer now serves as executive director of the Capital Region Nordic Alliance in New York, where he combines his physical therapy expertise with his passion for adaptive outdoor sports.
A 1982 graduate of Pitt’s Physical Therapy program, Galantino's remarkable career began with a spirit of inquiry and service during her undergraduate years at Pitt.
Her professional excellence has been widely recognized. She is a Fulbright Scholar and recipient of numerous honors in addition to the recent Joan Mills Award, including the APTA Humanitarian Award, the Pennsylvania Chapter Humanitarian Award, and the APTA Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy Academic Impact in Geriatrics Award.
She not only gained confidence and experience being a sports and conditioning coach, but also in presenting research, which earned her the top award at the National Strength and Conditioning Association National Conference in July.
These alumni credit Pitt OT with shaping their outlook on leadership and helping to propel their transition into the technology space.
Michael Reed graduated from the Emergency Medicine program in 2011, and over 10 years later, he is still witnessing the impact of the degree on his career.
