Pittsburgh has recently been named one of the most livable cities in the world, according to The Economist Intelligence Unit. The city of Pittsburgh provides the perfect combination of ‘big city’ experiences and a ‘small town’ feel. The city offers world class professional sports, entertainment, museums and local parks. Many of our students also take advantage of local recreational areas for biking, hiking, skiing and camping. Our local coffee shops are also popular among our students for studying and taking a break from classes to meet up with friends. Pittsburgh is also conveniently located to many major cities for exploring during semester breaks and over long holiday weekends.
The Department of Communication Science and Disorders is located in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS). We are home to one of the nation’s top-ranked schools for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology, and Speech-Language Pathology.
