About $50,000 dollars is up for grabs in the inaugural SHRS Innovation Challenge. The goal of the competition is to move early-stage discoveries from the school towards the market. 
 
All SHRS faculty, students, and staff are encouraged to apply. Teams must be led by SHRS faculty or staff but may be comprised of members from other schools or colleges. The deadline for applications is January 11. Up to ten teams will be accepted into the challenge and each of these teams will receive $3,000.* Finalists will be announced in January and compete for two top prizes of $10,000 on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. All are welcome to attend the final competition and listen in on the team pitches. Event details will be announced at a later date.
